Our beloved, Clara Lou Morton Nanninga, passed early in the morning on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 in La Mesa, CA. Her Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at 2:00 pm at the First Presbyterian Church, 215 Locust Street in Albuquerque. Her three sons will be in attendance.

Clara left Albuquerque and entered Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, AZ in April 2009 for a physical examination. She was diagnosed with advanced diabetes. She then moved into a skilled care nursing center in La Mesa, CA where her son, Bruce Nanninga, lives.

She is survived by two other sons, Robert of San Luis Obispo, CA and Mark of San Antonio, TX.

Clara, a beautiful and poised Kappa, was born on July 23, 1920. She was initiated as a Gamma Beta Kappa in 1940. She was the widow of Robert S. Nanninga.
